Imagine trying to run 2 restaurants at the same time when you don't have any experience.

Each restaurant cost you $100k per month.

So 2 restaurants will cost you $200k per month.

You only have $1 Million, which means you can only last for 5 months if you don't break even. In the best case scenario, it takes 6 months to break even.

But because you try to run 2 restaurants at the same time, you run out of cash flow by the 5th month and have to file for bankruptcy.

If only you had just stuck to one, you would have enough cash flow to last for 6 months and start seeing a profit.

Over time, you can consider reinvesting the profit to start a second restaurant.

The same principle applies to affiliate marketing and drop shipping.

While the cost of running an online business is not as much as running as a restaurant, they are still expenses that take money out of your pocket.

In the real world, nobody will attempt to start two restaurants at the same time.

Only we online marketers are crazy enough to think we can run two different businesses at the same time when we don't have any experience in each of them.

I was guilty of doing that for a very long time and end up failing at both.

So it is a lesson learned the hard way.

But once I started focusing on one thing, that’s how I managed to get a breakthrough.

So whether it is affiliate marketing or drop shipping, I suggest that you just stick to one.

I recommend affiliate marketing because there are less skills you need to learn and it is more beginner friendly compared to drop shipping, and in my opinion, also have a higher profit potential.
